The brief

The move was warmth against the raw architecture. We added an exposed-brick accent wall to anchor the seating area, then layered a deep linen sectional, a walnut-and-leather lounge chair, a cluster of hand-blown glass pendants, and a striped wool rug that ties in the warm tones of the new wood floors. Ruby accents give the neutral palette a jolt of energy.
