The brief

We anchored the great room with a subway-tile fireplace wall and a soft linen sectional, then ran a thread of color through the whole floor: deep navy drapery and pillows in the living room, a sculptural gilt-ring chandelier over the dining table, and gray-wash cabinetry with white dimensional tile in the kitchen. Large-scale abstract canvases turn the entry and hallways into a private gallery.
