The brief

We anchored it with a substantial dark-wood trestle table and cream nailhead-trim chairs, then layered a richly patterned Persian rug for warmth underfoot. A mirrored honeycomb-front sideboard reflects the light, a faceted brass mirror and stone-disc sculpture add an artful moment, and a crystal-and-iron lantern chandelier crowns the tray ceiling with just enough glamour.
