The brief

A three-sided stacked-stone gas fireplace now anchors the room, dividing the dining zone from the lounge while staying open on every side. We paired camel leather with deep navy velvet, layered jute poufs and a slate-blue rug, and dressed the two-story windows in floor-to-ceiling striped drapery that finally reads at the right scale. A sculptural glass-globe chandelier and Tuscan artwork warm the palette.
