The brief

We kept the palette warm and grounded: bamboo floors, gray upholstery, walnut and reclaimed-wood pieces, and industrial metal accents that echo the staircase and railings. Vinyl on a bar cart, a guitar in the corner and vintage books on floating shelves make it feel collected and lived-in rather than staged, and a barn door and mid-century nightstands keep the bedroom calm.
