The brief

The direction was industrial minimalist, restrained rather than cold. Crisp white walls and steel-gray leather set the base, then warm oak nightstands, brass and Edison lighting, and a collection of found-object art (motorcycle patent prints, film-reel and gear sculptures, a reclaimed road sign) give every room a story worth photographing.
